Hypnogenesis

hypnosis

While in hypnotic trance you can expect to feel relaxed and focused thus allowing the conscious mind to "go to sleep." The conscious mind is where we analyze, judge, and store short term memory. Tapping into the subconscious mind allows you access to long-term memory, values, beliefs, and emotions. This is where old conclusions are stored and is also where habit patterns, relationship patterns, and addictions are rooted. Most of us spend a great deal of energy holding on to old grief, anger, guilt, shame and fear. These emotions are the basis for many of our undesirable behaviors and/or addictions. When old events and emotions are revisited, it is possible to release and heal those old experiences.

In more simple terms, the subconscious mind is much like a greenhouse. Roses and orchids can flourish in this environment. So can dandelions and other invasive weeds. The weeds can actually choke out the desirable plants. Hypnotherapy really is the process of weeding out the unwanted, clearing the way so that new and desirable behaviors and feelings will thrive.

Many people have tried repeatedly to lose weight, stop smoking, or solve their emotional problems at the conscious level. The results are often times limiting and discouraging. With hypnotherapy you not only feel accomplishment but through this process, you feel rested, refreshed and recharged. Doing this kind of work will very likely filter into and influence other aspects of your life.

The kind of work Buck does is incredibly spiritual. I didn't think there was anyone in Cleveland doing this kind of stuff
